Is this a tantalizing clue to the existence of Bigfoot in the wilds of Colorado?

During a romantic Colorado getaway, a couple claims to have captured Bigfoot on camera. They spotted the elusive creature wandering along a mountainside and even sitting down to rest, all in broad daylight.

Celebrating their tenth anniversary on a Colorado train tour, Shannon and Stetson Parker claim they saw the legendary Bigfoot.

"We were looking for elk in the mountains and my husband sees something moving and then can't really explain it. So he's like 'Bigfoot!""

"It was at least six, seven feet or taller. It matched the sage in the mountains so much that he's like camouflaged when crouching down...if you asked before our trip we would have said maybe [Bigfoot] could be real, but now we're convinced."

Some rallied behind the couple's Bigfoot story, with comments like "I believe" and "love it!" However, not everyone is convinced of a Chewbacca look-alike's existence.

"It didn't look like a hunter because a hunter would have had a weapon like a bow since its bow season. It didn't seem to be carrying anything."

People in the United States have been documenting sightings of the massive figure, with numerous accounts originating from the woodlands of the Pacific Northwest, dating back to the 1800s.

The University of Arizona suggests that the legends might be linked to an extinct colossal ape known as Gigantopithecus, which coexisted with early humans.
