Negotiators, who represent Hollywood actors currently on strike and the studios, are scheduled to engage in talks on October 2nd. This arrangement was confirmed in a joint statement released by both sides on Wednesday.
In July, the SAG-AFTRA actors union, the largest union in Hollywood with 160,000 members, initiated a work stoppage. This action followed a strike by their counterparts from the writers union, which began in early May. It is important to note that the writers union recently reached a preliminary agreement with the studios earlier this week.”
