After her Oscar-nominated performance in Steven Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans,” Michelle Williams is set to lend her voice to Britney Spears by narrating the pop icon’s forthcoming memoir, “The Woman in Me.”

Variety has confirmed that Spears will provide an introduction to the audiobook, while Williams will take over the narration for the rest. “The Woman in Me” is scheduled for release on October 24 through Gallery Books, a Simon & Schuster imprint.
The memoir promises to recount the “incredible journey and core strength of one of pop music’s greatest performers,” as stated in a press release. It highlights the enduring power of music, love, and the importance of a woman sharing her story on her own terms.
The audiobook will be released simultaneously with the print editions of “The Woman in Me.”
Britney Spears secured a substantial publishing deal for her tell-all book in February, shortly after her conservatorship was terminated. Simon & Schuster acquired the rights to Spears’ book last year following a bidding war involving multiple publishers, with Spears reportedly earning up to $15 million in this “record-breaking” deal.
In a statement to People magazine, Spears expressed her sentiments: “This book has been a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it.
Revisiting these experiences has been a rollercoaster of excitement, heartache, and emotions, to say the least. Due to these feelings, I’ve decided to personally narrate only a portion of my audiobook. I’m immensely thankful to the talented Michelle Williams for taking over the rest of it.”
In a concise message of support, Williams declared, “I firmly stand by Britney.”
