In Toronto, a tragic incident unfolded where a woman lost her life, and three others sustained injuries after a deliberate vehicle collision. This occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the city’s northeast, surrounded by apartment complexes.
A male suspect is currently in custody, although authorities have not released his identity. Toronto Police inspector Keri Fernandes indicated that the potential intentional nature of the incident led to the involvement of the homicide unit.
The event occurred around 12:40 EST in a parking lot near Victoria Park Avenue and Cassandra Boulevard. Among the four affected adults, two received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital, while a third was treated at the scene.
Unfortunately, the fourth victim, a woman, succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. The police emphasized that the investigation is still in its early stages, refraining from disclosing further details about the victims or potential connections with the suspect.
