Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima have celebrated their marriage with a dual ceremony.
The former host of popular reality shows like The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise exchanged vows first in Napa Valley, California, on October 14, and then again on November 4 in their hometown of Austin, Texas. The intimate Napa Valley ceremony was attended by close family and friends, while the Austin celebration turned into a grand affair with various Bachelor franchise alums, including Wells Adams, Sarah Hyland, Ben and Jessica Higgins, Arie Luyendyk Jr., Lauren Burnham, Sean and Catherine Lowe, JoJo Fletcher, Trista Sutter, Colton Underwood, Jordan C. Brown, Bob Guiney, and Jessica Canyon. The night before the Austin ceremony, the group gathered to reminisce and have some fun.
Signature cocktails at the event were cleverly named after Chris Harrison’s former hosting role, with drinks like “The Final Rose” and “The Bachelor No More.” While there was a running joke about Chris officiating his own wedding, they chose to have his longtime friend Mike Levitt as the officiant. Napa Valley holds a special place in their hearts as it was where Chris proposed to Lauren in 2021.
The evening before the Napa Valley ceremony, former Bachelor Andrew Firestone hosted a welcome party at a local winery. During the reception the following night, Chris’s daughter, Taylor, serenaded the couple with a rendition of Leon Bridges’ “Beyond,” one of their favorite songs.
Chris and Lauren decided to have two ceremonies to ensure they had meaningful, intimate moments with their closest family and friends. They wanted to create lasting memories with those who have been with them from the start of their relationship. Their love story began when Lauren, a former correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, interviewed Chris in 2016, and they continued to connect before eventually starting a romantic relationship.
Lauren expressed that Chris is her unwavering teammate who supports her in everything, while Chris described Lauren as not only brilliant but also kind, willing to love others unconditionally.
Chris Harrison had been previously married to Gwen Harrison, but they announced their separation in 2012, after 18 years of marriage.
