Renowned Hollywood actor Chris Evans has officially confirmed his recent marriage to his girlfriend, Alba Baptista.
Chris Evans, well-known for his roles in numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films, as well as hit movies like “The Gray Man” and “Knives Out,” openly discussed his wedding at the New York Comic Con (NYCC).
During a panel discussion, the 42-year-old actor happily revealed, “I got married. It was an amazing experience. We actually had two ceremonies. One took place on the East Coast, and the other was in Portugal since my wife is Portuguese. Yeah, go Portugal!”
Previously, it had been reported that Evans and the 26-year-old Baptista tied the knot in a private ceremony at a Cape Cod estate on September 9. Notably, some of Evans’ fellow Marvel co-stars, such as Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner, were on the guest list for the event.
While attending NYCC, where he was among the featured guests alongside other popular stars like Ewan McGregor, David Tennant, Zachary Levi, Tom Hiddleston, and Susan Sarandon, Chris Evans was spotted wearing a gold wedding band.
Evans humorously shared, “Planning a wedding is quite an undertaking. For those of you who are married, you understand the level of effort it requires. But now that we’re past that, we’re just savoring life, getting ready for my favorite season, autumn. We’re now relaxing, enjoying life, and taking time to reflect.”
The star of “Avengers: Endgame” and Baptista, known for her role in the 2022 film “Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris,” initially sparked romance rumors in November.
