Taylor Swift concluded her “Eras Tour” show in Tokyo around 9:12 p.m. JST on Saturday, giving her a window of over 35 hours to travel to the Super Bowl in Nevada, more than 5,500 miles away. The time difference between Tokyo and Las Vegas, where the NFL’s title game was scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, provides Swift with a crucial head start.
To support her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers, Swift’s prompt travel will be essential. Although fans and aviation enthusiasts believe they spotted Swift’s private jet, named “The Football Era,” arriving at Los Angeles’ LAX airport from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport just after 3:30 p.m. local time, it remains uncertain whether Swift has indeed landed and is en route to Las Vegas. If she makes it to the Super Bowl, it would mark her 13th Chiefs game of the 2023-24 season, a coincidental nod to her lucky number.
Kansas City has emerged victorious in nine out of the previous twelve regular-season and playoff games. Kelce, a dynamic tight end, has showcased some of his finest performances with Swift cheering from the stands.
His three standout games coincided with Swift’s presence: he recorded 124 receiving yards against the Denver Broncos on Oct. 12, 179 yards on 12 receptions against the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 22, and an impressive 11-catch, 118-yard effort in the AFC title game against the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 28. Kelce’s lone turnover of the season occurred during the 21-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 20, coinciding with Swift’s absence from the Kelce Bowl in Pennsylvania.
In the playoffs, Kelce has excelled, amassing 23 catches, 262 yards, and three touchdowns in three knockout games, all attended by Swift.
